Turning Point
Bold colours and shapes form this striking print
The basic stencil is from a piece of packaging. Each of the panels is printed twice - the first layer is a flat and even colour, which is then overprinted with a second layer that is deliberately misprinted - NOT flat and even. Breaking the "screen printing rules" and seeing what happens: the broken layers provide interesting variations in colour and density - almost like weather and landscape.
Each of the prints in the edition is a little different.
Screen print from a variable edition of 5, 53x44 cm.
